  1. Kia Ora Chace,

It’s great to see another post from you! I can’t believe there is a plant that lives off such a small amount of water every year. Can you think of a reason why a cactus might only live off a small amount of water?

It’s great to see that you have found the right answer. Is there a way you could calculate the answer without using a calculator? It might be easier to write your working down because it is such a larger number!

It’s great that you have used a photo of a cactus to add something eye catching to your post. But it is important to try and attribute image (which means the author or website who published the image gets some recognition for what they have created). You can read more about attributing images on the link below. Do you think you could comment below with the image attributes?

    Keep up the great mahi!

    1. Hi Dani
I think a cactus can live off a small amount of water because it has no leaves it doesn't give up its water through evaporation as easily as other plants. That's the answer to your question. For my calculation I am going to write it on paper screenshot it and add it to my blog. Thanks for the helpful comment Dani. Blog You Later.šŸ˜Ž

    2. Kia Ora Chace,

That is a really good point! I was only thinking about where cacti normally grow ( the desert) and that there is very limited water for them there.
Awesome thanks for adding the screenshot! Keep up the great work
